7-26-2011 1:00 p.m. – Suspicious Circumstances – 200 blk. Cross Timbers – An alert citizen reported an unknown blue Mustang parked in a neighbor’s driveway. The vehicle departed the scene prior to officer arrival. Officers did not detect any evidence of criminal activity.
7-27-2011 10:19 a.m. – Solicitor Complaint – 500 blk. Cross Timbers – Citizen reported an unknown person soliciting roof work door to door.
7-27-2011 9:10 a.m. – Assist Motorist – 5800 blk. Pepperport – Motorist needed assistance with getting their vehicle to start.
7-27-2011 5:56 p.m. – Solicitor Complaint – 300 blk. Valley View – Citizen reported a door to door solicitor. Upon arrival officers determined that the solicitor had a Town of Double Oak issued permit.
7-27-2011 11:36 p.m. – Assist Agency – 800 blk. McMakin, Denton Cnty. – Double Oak Officer responded to a welfare check call for Denton County.
7-28-2011 8:50 p.m. – Assist Agency – 900 blk. Benbrook, Lantana – Double Oak Officer responded as a cover unit for Denton County Sheriffs Department on a disturbance call in Lantana.
7-30-2011 12:20 a.m. – Assist Agency – 1000 blk. James Price Ct., Bartonville – Double Oak Officer provided cover for Bartonville PD while an investigation was conducted.
7-30-2011 8:25 a.m. – Assist Agency – 2500 blk. FM 407 – Double Oak Officer assisted Bartonville PD and Denton County Sheriffs Department with traffic stop involving two suspects who had been drinking.
8-02-2011 10:20 a.m. – Solicitor Complaint – 100 blk. Highview – A citizen reported an unknown male placing door hangers. Officer located the solicitor who decided to leave the area.
8-03-2011 11:32 p.m. – Assist Agency – 100 blk. Lesley Ln. – Double Oak Officer assisted Bartonville PD with searching a building after a door was found open. The building was secured and contact was made with the owner.
8-04-2011 8:22 a.m. – Assist Agency – 1200 blk. S. Gibbons Rd., Bartonville – Double Oak Officer assisted Bartonville PD on an open door investigation. Responding Officers did not find any sign of criminal activity.
8-04-2011 4:13 a.m. – Assist Agency – 700 blk. Cheryl Lynn Dr., Argyle – Double Oak Officer assisted Argyle Officer while an investigation was conducted.
8-06-2011 6:11 p.m. – Audible Alarm – 100 blk. Shady Hill Ln. – Call about an audible alarm in front of a resident’s home. Officer determined that the alarm was from a septic system. Officer reset the alarm for the property owners.
8-08-2011 10:25 a.m. – Assist DO Fire Department – 300 blk. Cedar Crest Ln. – FD and PD responded to a citizen needing assistance call.
8-08-2011 8:33 p.m. – Criminal Trespass – 100 blk. Oakview Dr. – Citizen reported hearing footsteps in their residence early in the morning. The resident checked with family members and believes it may have been an intruder. No items were taken or damaged and the offense is under investigation.
