I am disgusted by the recent activities in our very nice town. I see paint ball splats on candidate signs along FM 2499 and I hear about hate letters sent to residents. Can’t we all just get along? This is hurting our image and it is embarrassing to see these antics on the local news and I cringe to think it could hit the national news. Flower Mound Texas is a great place to live. That is the title of my real estate website and I stand behind it although recently it hasn’t felt so great. It is time for a change in leadership that doesn’t have the “appearance” of a conflict of interest and move this town forward. I believe the vision for the future as expressed by the candidates Melissa Northern, Al Filidoro and Steve Lyda (affectionately called NFL!) represent a balanced approach for the future. Quality of life is what Flower Mound offers and that is the reason many, including my own family, choose to live here. Under the current leadership of this town, this quality of life is being sold out to gas companies and developers that don’t share the vision of a Great Place to Live. Vote during the election for a new leadership – NFL.
