In addition, Solutions of North Texas and an organization called Love a Child are providing an additional drop-off location in Denton at 1600 N. Ruddell St. daily through this Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Monetary donations are also being accepted. All donations will go directly to relief efforts in Haiti through Samaritan’s Purse and Love A Child. Both organizations have a long history on the ground in Haiti as well as a wealth of experience in large scale crisis response, according to Scott Wisenbaker with Solutions of North Texas.
Cross Timbers Community Church also made a donation of $10,000 to Samaritan’s Purse to provide water and shelter to those in need.
