Marcus High School is hosting the 27th annual Lone Star Classic Drumline Competition all day Saturday.
The competition gets started around 8:30 a.m. at Marauder Stadium and will run until the 10 p.m. award ceremony. Fifty two high school drumlines from around the state will perform, as will nearly two dozen soloists. Flower Mound High School will be the only local high school competing, though Marcus, as the host school, will perform in exhibition.
