Northwest Independent School District officials will discuss school safety and security in a live video on Facebook on Thursday evening.
In the wake of the recent Florida school shooting incident, Northwest ISD has received messages from concerned parents and guardians about its procedures, according to a district news release. Through Facebook Live, Superintendent Ryder Warren will provide community members with an overview of some of the district’s security policies designed to keep students safe and will take questions from viewers.
The Facebook Live video will begin about 6:30 p.m. Thursday on the district’s Facebook page.
