
During Friday’s 4th annual Veterans Day Relay Run in Flower Mound, Navy veteran Dave Steinberger carried the American flag for approximately two miles from Liberty Elementary to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital accompanied by a police escort.
The Flower Mound resident, who served for seven years on the USS Columbia, was met by his family along with friends and supporters, and many cheers and high fives.

Twenty-eight relay participants ran a portion of the 45-mile route around Flower Mound between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. that started and ended at the Flower Mound Community Activity Center.
