Liberty Christian’s JV golf teams won first and second in the Denton High School Golf Open earlier this week.
“We entered two teams in this event totaling nine players in the 37 degree weather,” said Coach Larry Frank.
The first place team consisted of Mason Gunn, Austin Leaverton, Jacob Taylor, and Brandon Wayman.
The second place team included Cole Collins, Jonathan Couch, Cade Curtis, Dawson Fuller, and Garrett White.
Jacob Taylor won the medalist as the low round of the day with 80.
