What a shame that Copper Canyon has decided to silence the train at Orchid Hill Rd. due to complaints. If you don’t want to hear the train, don’t live by the railroad tracks. I will miss that wonderful sound as will some of the people who have lived here for 20 plus years. After all, isn’t it supposed to be a safety thing?
We can live with sirens, airplanes, construction equipment, etc., but just can’t handle the train for those few seconds. Makes you wonder why the train is used as background in movies and books so often.
