The Guyer boys soccer team made quick work of Aledo on Tuesday, defeating the Bearcats 5-1 to advance to the area round.
Connor Bourgeois scored first for the Wildcats on a penalty kick to put Guyer up 1-0.
Collin Christian then scored his first of two goals in the game, followed by a goal from Israel Castillo.
Anthony Cordeiro scored Guyer’s fifth goal to put the game away.
The Wildcats will play Wichita Falls at a time and location to be determined in the second round.
