Some of the most notable homes in Argyle and Bartonville will open their doors to the public as part of a tour on September 22.
The Argyle Community Civic League (CCL) has convinced the owners of some of the most beautiful homes in the area to welcome the public behind closed doors all in the name of charity.
The group focuses on raising funds to assist senior citizens and children in need in Argyle.
CCL members spent the last several weeks gathering back-to-school clothing and shoes so that children will have the necessary things needed to start the school year right.
“These children do not have a choice in being able to have the items needed to go back to school,” said Pamela Arrington, communications officer for the Argyle CCL.
“As members of the Argyle community, it is our goal to help these children and to provide for them what they need.”
The Argyle CCL tour of homes is Sunday, Sept. 22, from 1 to 5 p.m. For tickets, contact: [email protected].
