Liberty baseball headed to state championship

The Liberty Christian baseball team advanced to the state championship game with a 4-3 victory over Plano Prestonwood Christian on Monday.

Hayden Holley picked up the win for the Warriors, allowing just seven hits in the contest.

Weldon Whittle tripled and Connor McCann doubled in the game for Liberty Christian.

Liberty plays Houston St. Pius at 10 a.m. tomorrow, May 14, at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in the state championship game.
