10:34 p.m. – Assist Agency (Assault With Weapon Call) – 200 blk. Westover, Argyle – Double Oak Police assisted Argyle Police with assault investigation.
11:04 p.m. – Assist Agency (Shots Fired) – John Wells Rd., Argyle – Double Oak Police Assisted Argyle Police with investigation into shots fired. Officers were unable to find the suspect(s).
11:56 p.m. – Street Blockage – Waketon and Kings Rd. – Officer assisted with obtaining a wrecker for a broken down vehicle.
October 8
1:26 p.m. – Theft – 100 blk. Oakview Dr. – License plates stolen from parked car.
3:09 p.m. – Loud Music – 200 blk. Oak Trail – A complaint was lodged about a neighbor playing loud music. Officer spoke to the resident playing the music and it was turned down.
October 11
1:50 p.m. – Evading Arrest – 100 blk. Simmons Rd. – A motorcyclist drove around the “road closed” barricades on Simmons and was stopped by a Double Oak Officer. The motorcyclist provided a false name to the patrol officer and then ran on foot while the officer was conducting a subject check on his in-car computer. Double Oak Officers and the Denton County Sheriff’s Department located the suspect hiding in the bushes in the 300 blk. of E. Carruth. Further investigation revealed subject was wanted out of Henderson County Texas for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.
October 16
10:30 a.m. – Harassment – 100 blk. Park Ln. – Citizen reported that a neighbor threatened to kill her dogs.
1:04 p.m. – Suspicious Persons – 400 blk. Simmons Rd. – A citizen reported observing two persons in a maroon, dirt covered, SUV in their driveway. One of the persons walked to their gate and turned around when observed by the resident. Officer was unable to locate the subjects or their SUV.
7:54 p.m. – Disturbance – 100 blk. Park Ln. – A resident and an elderly couple fought verbally and physically over dogs and property line.
October 17
4:33 p.m. – Harassment – 100 blk. Knob Hill – A resident reported that and unknown person had taken out a “Craig’s List” advertisement in their name.
October 19
12:21 p.m. – Forgery / Fraud – 300 blk. Waketon Rd. – A resident reported that an unknown person had established a financial account in his name.
