Tom Pauken, Chairman of the Texas Workforce Commission, will be the guest speaker for this Wednesday’s meeting of the Denton Republican Women’s Club.
Pauken is also former Chairman of the Texas Republican Party and former White House Counsel’s Office under President Ronald Reagan and is the author of two books, The Thirty Years War: The Politics of the Sixties Generation, and most recently, Bringing America Home: How America Lost Her Way and How We Can Find Our Way Back.
The group meets for a buffet lunch at Miguelito’s Restaurant in Denton at 11:30, with the meeting and program beginning at noon.
Any intereted Republican is welcome to attend, according to Women’s Club President, Lee Ann Breading.
