Two members of an Argyle family died and three others were hospitalized after their car was hit by a suspected drunk driver early Easter morning.
33-year old Kandi Hull was killed, along with her 13-year old daughter, Autumn Caudle, when their family’s car was rear-ended early Sunday morning in Lewisville on I-35E.
Hull’s husband, Tony, their 16-year-old daughter, Dominique, and 12-year-old son, Jake, were hospitalized with non life-threatening injuires, according to authorities.
Investigators say John Barton, 30, of Lewisville was speeding when he slammed into the sedan. He has been charged with two counts of murder.
Barton has three previous DWI convictions during the past 13 years.
