Denton County Sheriff Will Travis was recently the subject of a media report regarding the filing of campaign finance statements from his 2012 run for his current office. It seems that he’s being criticized for not filling out some forms properly.
Travis said he financed his own campaign in 2012, hence, he didn’t accept donations from anyone. To allow Denton County residents to hear directly from him on this issue, I invited the Sheriff to outline the circumstances in the filing of said reports.
