John Fox with Victory Mortgage in Flower Mound presented a check for $1,100 to Barbara Atkins with Hope Inc. of Denton as a result of an iPad raffle fundraiser sponsored by his company.
Hope Inc. is a division of the United Way that helps families find shelter after losing their homes due to sickness, job loss or other unfortunate circumstances.
Fox organizes monthly fundraiser lunches for local charities on the second Tuesday of each month at Bari’s Italian Restaurant in Flower Mound. The next lunch will be on June 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
In addition to the iPad raffle proceeds, Fox said that he has raised over $2,500 year to date through the lunches to assist local charities.
