An Oregon-based boba tea brand is expanding into Texas, and one of its first locations in the Lone Star State is now open.
TeaCupFuls Boba Tea Shop opened its doors Friday morning and will host a grand opening event Saturday at the new shop, which is located at Long Prairie Plaza, a shopping center along FM 2499.
According to TeaCupFuls, the boba spot serves fun, made-to-order drinks including milk teas, fruit teas, blended drinks, specialty creations and customizable toppings.
The shop will debut a specialty cotton candy drink at the Flower Mound grand opening event.
“From classic tapioca pearls and popping boba to jellies, sea salt foam and our signature cotton candy creations, there’s something for everyone,” said the brand in a press release.
TeaCupFuls was founded in Bend, Oregon in 2017, and was inspired by founder Loana Perez’s Vietnamese heritage and passion for bringing people together.
In addition to tasty drinks, TeaCupFuls hopes to offer a unique environment for the community.
Flower Mound isn’t the only place TeaCupFuls plans to open in southern Denton County.
Another shop is expected to open in a shopping center in Argyle.
