Rotary Club aims to End Polio Now with Swimarathon

The Rotary Club of Flower Mound’s Swimarathon to End Polio Now is set for Saturday from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Westside Aquatic Center, 1750 Duncan Lane in Lewisville.

Community members and swimmers from all five Lewisville ISD high school swim teams will participate in the annual event, and funds raised by the swimmers will goo support End Polio Now, the international effort through Rotary International to eradicate Polio worldwide.. Spectator admission is free.

“Swimarathon 2019 is about the community coming together to impact change on a global initiative to end Polio,” said Flower Mound Rotary Club Swimarathon Chair Jackie Herr. “Rotary has a heart to improve the lives of those around us and in our world, and we are excited to partner with LISD in this event.”
