Argyle police investigating robbery at PointBank

The Argyle Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred Friday afternoon at PointBank on Hwy 377.

About 2:45 p.m., police were called to a reported robbery at the bank, according to a news release from Argyle police. The lone suspect had come in, demanded cash and fled the scene. No one was injured, and no suspects have been identified. Additional information about the incident was not immediately available.

    Pretty gutsy robbing a bank only about 100 yards from the police station. Then again they probably knew our armed meter maids were sitting down at Paradise Food Store drinking coffee or doing the only thing they’re good for… writing a ticket.
