Flower Mound to host disc golf tournament at Heritage Park event

The town of Flower Mound is inviting the community to participate in a disc golf tournament at the Heritage Park Phase IV grand opening event.

The “Bring Your Own Partner” doubles disc golf tournament will begin at 11 a.m. on March 30 at the event to celebrate the completion of lots of renovations at Heritage Park, 600 Spinks Road. The disc golf course will be played in its normal layout, and the top three teams will receive prizes, according to a town news release. There will also be a closest-to-the-pin competition on all 18 baskets, with prizes provided by the Lewisville Amateur Disc Golf Club and associated sponsors.

The entry fee is $10 per team and players must be at least 16 years old to participate. The last day to register for the tournament is March 28. Register online and search “Disc Golf” or visit the Community Activity Center, located at 1200 Gerault Road to register in person.
