The whole family is invited to the Flower Mound Fire Department’s annual Open House event on Saturday.
At the Central Fire Station, 3911 South Broadway Ave., the community can come out from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and meet the firefighters, take a station tour and watch fire extinguisher and vehicle extrication demonstrations by crew members, according to a town news release.
Kids will also be able to use a fire hose — with the help of firefighters — and try on bunker gear. There will be free hot dogs, drinks and popcorn, according to the town.
