Highland Village, Flower Mound among state’s safest places

A new study has ranked Highland Village and Flower Mound in the top 10 safest places in Texas.

According to HomeSnacks.net, a website that combines data about U.S. cities into bite-sized posts, Highland Village is the seventh safest places in Texas, and Flower Mound is No. 10. Both local municipalities had low scores in both violent and property crimes per capita.

The study analyzed 331 Texas towns and cities with populations of more than 5,000 people using the latest FBI crime data. Flower Mound had the largest population of any place in the top 30. For more information, click here.
