Christian Community Action is inviting the community to spend a morning shooting in a friendly sporting clay tournament for a good cause.

The second annual CCA Sporting Clay Tourney: Aim for Hope – Changing Lives is set for the morning of April 26 at the Dallas Gun Club, 3601 South Stemmons Freeway, Lewisville. There will be a 13-station shoot, light breakfast, barbecue lunch, games and door prizes, according to a CCA news release.

CCA, the Lewisville-based nonprofit that ministers to the poor, had 60 participants at last year’s event, “and this year promises to be even better,” the news release said. “Proceeds from the event will go to CCA’s mission to alleviate suffering, bring hope and change lives.”

Registration will be from 8-9 a.m. on the event day, and the first bird will fly at 9. Click here for more information and to register.
