Before local politics become the main point of discussion in our community, from one mayor to another, I would like to recognize the contributions of Charlotte Wilcox.
For many a year Highland Village and Flower Mound may not have always had the best warm and fuzzy relationship. Since becoming mayor, Charlotte has gone overboard to improve a spirit of cooperation between our two towns. She is always open to ideas, helpful and willing to do just about anything that is asked of her.
Charlotte has also been a wonderful friend to me. After many a Flower Mound Council meeting where things might have gone a little sideways, I often would call Charlotte to vent, and she would listen and have wonderful suggestions to keep me on the straight path.
So Charlotte, thank you for being such a good friend, a positive force in our community and I hope you can keep the good work going for many, many more years to come.
