The Flower Mound Animal Adoption Center is conducting a fundraising event this Christmas season to help raise some money to purchase supplies.

Flower Mound Animal Service’s “Paws and Claus” fundraising effort encourages residents to come by the adoption center, 3950 Justin Road, anytime in December and help make Christmas a little better for the four-legged residents waiting to be adopted. For $1, residents can purchase a paper paw, decorate it with your family or pet name, and choose a spot to put it on display, according to a town news release.

Animal Services hopes to raise $500, which will be used to purchase needed supplies like cat litter, dog and cat food, blankets, beds and more.
