Support police and shop at weekend event in Denton

Denton County residents can get a head start on their Christmas shopping, and at the same time Back the Blue, this weekend in Denton.

Backing the Blue – Denton, a local nonprofit formed last year, is sponsoring a Holiday Vendor Fair to raise money to support fallen and injured Denton County-area law enforcement officers, according to the organization. Entry is free with a donation of a warm set of pajamas, which will be donated to Denton County Friends of the Family, a local nonprofit that helps people affected by rape, sexual abuse and domestic violence.

There will be door prizes, food and lots of shopping at the event, including but not limited to the following vendors: LulaRoe, Scentsy, Lipsense, Pampered Chef, Tupperware, Perfectly Posh, Young Living, Thirty-One, Mary Kay, Stampin Up!, Plexus, BTB-D Merchandise, BelleRay Designs, Usborne, Christine’s Confection Collections, TKO Soaps, Southern Charmed Junk, Oragami Owl, SeaBitz, Arbonne, Heavenly Cakes by Natalie, Wreaths by Marlyn and Rag Bag Stitches.

The fair is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Denton Civic Center, 321 East McKinney St. For more information, email [email protected].
