Flower Mound residents will be able to weigh in on how the town used federal grant funds.

The town will hold a public hearing on Nov. 9 from 6-7 p.m. at Flower Mound Town Hall, 2121 Cross Timbers Road, regarding the Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report, according to a town news release.

“This public hearing provides residents with the opportunity to discuss the Town’s use of federal grant funds under the Community Development Block Grant Program” from Oct. 1, 2016 to Sept. 30, 2017, the news release said.

A copy of the CAPER is available here and is also available for viewing at the Flower Mound Public Library, 3030 Broadmoor Lane, and at Town Hall during normal business hours. Citizens unable to attend the hearing are encouraged to email Grants and Financial Analyst Brittni Barnett at [email protected].

For those who do not speak English, or have a disability and wish to attend the hearing, call 972.874.6000 at least two days prior to Nov. 9 so accommodations can be made.
