Highland Village, Flower Mound among most successful Texas cities, study finds

A recent study evaluated economic levels of Texas residents in 340 cities and towns, and two southern Denton County places ranked in the top 10.

Zippia, a website that provides career advice, studied the median household income, poverty level and unemployment rate for 340 cities and towns across Texas, and ranked the top 100 most successful.

Highland Village ranked No. 5, and Flower Mound came in No. 9.

West University Place, which is surrounded by Houston, ranked No. 1, and Trophy Club came in No. 2.
