Free Friday night fireworks return to Lake Grapevine

Back from a two-season hiatus, Grapevine’s free Friday Night Fireworks return this Memorial Day weekend as part of the City’s 9th Annual SummerBlast.

Fireworks will light up the Texas night sky over Lake Grapevine every Friday from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Don’t miss the vibrant and festive 11-minute show that is sure to dazzle and delight.

Following the heavy rains and flooding of 2015 and 2016, Grapevine’s highly-anticipated Friday Night Fireworks were canceled for the past two seasons. Beginning this Memorial Day Weekend on May 26, Grapevine’s Friday Night Fireworks are back and brighter than ever. Sparks will fly in a beautiful show reflecting over Lake Grapevine every Friday starting at 9:30 p.m.

Friday Night Fireworks shows are scheduled for May 26; June 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30; July 7, 14, 21 and 28; August 4, 11, 18 and 25 and September 1.

The brilliant display will be launched from Sand Bass Point in Oak Grove Park and is produced by Western Enterprises, Inc. Enjoy the show from viewing areas including Gaylord Texan Resort’s rooftop parking garage and Grapevine’s lake parks, as well as portions of Flower Mound.

Head to the Gaylord Texan Resort for their All-American Garage Party each Friday. The free weekly event will start at 7 p.m. on the fifth floor of the Resort Parking Garage and feature live music, food and a DJ hosting fun and games as they countdown to the big show at 9:30 p.m. Various viewing locations require a parking or entry fee.
