Rainfall amounts of 4 to 6 inches with isolated higher amounts in excess of 8 inches are possible.
A slow moving upper level low pressure system will approach late this weekend resulting in a prolonged chance for showers and thunderstorms across Denton County.
The heaviest rainfall potential appears to arrive late Sunday night into Monday, but rain stays in the forecast most of this week.
