Lewisville ISD (LISD) bands representing Marcus (MHS), Flower Mound (FMHS) and Hebron (HHS) high schools swept the UIL Area B 6A contest. MHS took 1st place, HHS took 2nd and FMHS took 3rd.
“We are excited that three of our five high school marching bands are headed to the state competition,” LISD Superintendent Dr. Stephen F. Waddell said. “Their hard work and dedication is evident and we want them to know LISD will be cheering them all on as they perform.”
The bands will perform at the state contest Nov. 4 at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
