Denton Benefit League will host a new fall fundraising event – Boots, Bling & Bourbon – from 6:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. this Saturday at the Lantana Golf Club.
The event will be a very casual atmosphere where guests will enjoy Texas liquors and bourbon, cigars, salsa, country music and a Texas style buffet.
The event also includes a silent auction, two-stepping and line dancing.
Tickets are $50 per person with the Texas liquor and bourbon tasting $20 per person and cigars are one for $5 or five for $20.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go toward the 2015 grants the organization awards each year.
Since 1974, the all-volunteer organization has distributed an estimated $4.47 million in grants to non-profit organizations across Denton County including CASA of Denton County, Inc.; The Arc of Denton County; Denton County Friends of the Family; United Way of Denton County, Inc.; and Habitat for Humanity of Denton County – to name a few.
