A section of all northbound and southbound lanes of FM 2499 were closed down for about an hour Friday afternoon in Flower Mound because of a major crash, according to the town of Flower Mound.
The town posted on social media about 12:40 p.m. that the two-vehicle crash in front of the IHOP, 2600 Long Prairie Road, had forced the closure of all lanes between Chaparral and Forest Vista Drive.
A Flower Mound Police Department spokesman said no one involved in the wreck needed to be transported to the hospital, and first responders were able to get the crash site cleaned and opened up in about an hour.
