As an exterior painting specialist of single family homes, I am so amazed at how beautiful and unique our local area is including Coppell, Flower Mound, Lewisville, Double Oak, Bartonville, Copper Canyon, Highland Village, Argyle, Lake Dallas, Hickory Creek, Corinth, Lantana and Robson Ranch.
As local residents, my wife and I drive through our neighborhoods and the pride of ownership is obvious. Being an exterior painting specialist working exclusively on painting exteriors on single family homes, I believe there are so many benefits to staying ahead of the curve and being proactive in taking care of one of our largest investments – our homes.
With that being said, I encourage all homeowners to invest 10 minutes and walk the outside of their home annually. Some of the areas you want to observe:
- Areas of chipping or fading paint
- Areas where rodents have attacked your siding or trim boards
- Delamination
- Fascia or soffits that are rotten
- Heavy Mildew
- Wooden chimney that has rotten boards
- Caulking that has shrunk and pulled away from your windows
- Leaking rain gutters

The prescription for what needs to be done will be very detailed. It will include extraordinary prep, prime, caulk and paint. This prescription will also include replacing all bad wood and caulking all windows.
