Guyer boys fall in area round

The season came to an end for the Guyer boys soccer team Thursday night, losing to Wichita Falls Rider by a score of 1-0 in the area round.

The Wildcats wrapped up the season with an 11-9-6 overall record and 5-3-2 mark in district competition.

Guyer finished third in the 11-4A district this season, and defeated Azle 4-2 in the bi-district round.

Connor Bourgeois led the team in scoring this season with 13 goals, while McKenna Cook added 11 goals, and Sean Diamond finished the season with 16 assists.
