Flower Mound hospital delivers first set of triplets

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound welcomed their first set of triplets Friday morning.

Campbell Beth Carruth, Caroline Mae Carruth, and Hunter William Carruth were born at 7:58, 7:59, and 8:00 a.m.

Dr. Sylvie Paroski, OB/GYN, with help from a staff of 16, delivered the three new additions and said the newborns were born a few weeks premature but are all doing well in the hospital’s advanced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Proud parents Megan and Eric Carruth of Flower Mound said that they picked the baby’s names from a combination of parents and relative’s names.

The Carruths both graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock.  Eric Carruth, a former offensive lineman for the Texas Tech Red Raiders, was already teaching his new babies how to do the “guns up” sign for his alma mater.

“We want to thank everyone at the facility for all you have done for Megan and me. We are truly blessed to have ya’ll as our guardian angels,“ said Carruth.

The new president of Texas Health Presbyterian Flower Mound, Spencer Turner, said that he is excited about the newest additions.  Their birthday was also his first official day on the job.

“I’m very happy to be a part of a facility that can provide this level of obstetrical and neonatal care here at the community level.  Families need to know that we can take care of them right here in Flower Mound without them having to travel many miles away from home and fight traffic.”

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower is located on FM 2499 and opened in April 2010.
