Based on preliminary TAKS data released by the Texas Education Agency, district officials predict LISD will receive a Recognized rating for the second consecutive year.
LISD missed receiving an “Exemplary” rating by 20 students, according to district officials. The district currently has more than 50,300 students enrolled.
TEA will release official district and campus ratings July 30.
