Flower Mound residents can recycle unwanted clothing and household items from their front door to benefit Christian Community Action.

Residents can visit Recycle2Support’s website and schedule a pickup date. R2S — a Dallas-based textile and household item recycling company — will pick up your items, and CCA will receive a portion of the proceeds in return, according to a news release from the town of Flower Mound.

After scheduling a pickup, residents should pack up their unwanted clothing and/or household items and place by outside your front door by 8 a.m. on your scheduled date. Next-day pickups are available Monday through Saturday, according to the news release. Items that can be recycled include clothing, shoes, books, toys and other household items.
