Flower Mound residents and business owners can now apply for the town’s popular Citizens’ Academy.

Attendees will gain a better understanding of the town’s government and the services provided, while giving the town valuable insight into the priorities and needs of residents, according to a town news release.

The program will meet about three times per month, from 6-8:30 p.m. at different town facilities, beginning in January and concluding in April. Each week will feature presentations from different town staff representing various departments. It is free to Flower Mound residents and business owners who are 18 years old and older. Participation is first-come, first-served and registration is underway, but there are a limited number of spots available.
