U.S. Army Sgt. Charles Boettcher is currently stationed overseas as a satellite communications systems operator and has recently re-enlisted for a second six-year contract, with plans to re-class as an unmanned aircraft mechanic, according to a town news release. He has been in the military since 2012, with three tours of duty.

U.S. Army Pvt. 1st Class Daniell Gage is currently serving his first tour of duty in South Korea. Before heading overseas, he was stationed in Fort Bliss as an intelligence analyst.

Both Boettcher and Gage are Marcus High School graduates.

Flower Mound’s Hometown Heroes program began in 2012 to honor the community’s men and women who served or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. For more information about the Hometown Heroes program, click here.
