Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound is inviting the community to its free breast health awareness event … with a twist.
For the event, residents are invited to have food and drinks while decorating their own Christmas ornament with Painting with a Twist, all while listening to breast cancer survivors, current patients and physicians share their stories and information. It will be held on Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Courtyard hotel, 4330 Courtyard Way, Flower Mound.
“It’s an education setting, but at the same time, it’s still fun,” said Pam Petrides, director of marketing at the hospital.
October is breast cancer awareness month, and this is the third year that Texas Health Flower Mound is hosting this event, which will include a prize for whoever wins the best pink outfit.
