The Flower Mound Police Department arrested three 17-year-old men in connection with the shooting of an unoccupied vehicle in August.

Late on Aug. 27, Flower Mound police received a call of shots fired in the 1800 block of Chestnut Court near FM 1171 and Morriss, according to a police news release at the time. Upon arrival, officers found multiple bullet holes in an unoccupied vehicle. No one was injured.

Police announced Thursday that three 17-year-old Lewisville residents — Abimael Mora-Delgado, Alexis Herrera and Jaret Gutierrez — have been arrested on charges of deadly conduct – discharging a firearm, a third-degree felony.

Capt. Shane Jennings, a FMPD spokesman, said the case was “extremely complicated,” but in short, it was a targeted, isolated incident over a “relationship that went bad.”
