Local Casino Night fundraiser to benefit FMPD’s Santa Cops

The Flower Mound Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (FMCPAAA) will host a Casino Night next week to benefit the Flower Mound Police Department’s Santa Cops program.

The event will be held at the Bridlewood Golf Club, 4000 West Windsor Drive, at 6 p.m. on Oct. 13. Casino Night will feature Black Jack, Texas Hold ‘Em, Roulette, Craps and slot machines, according to the police department. There will also be food, raffle prizes, silent auction items and door prizes.

Flower Mound Police Chief Andy Kancel and Assistant Chief Wendell Mitchell collect toys for the Santa Cops program.

Tickets are $40 per person and can be purchased by emailing [email protected] or by visiting this link. Sponsorship opportunities are also available, according to FMPD.

Each year, the FMPD Santa Cops program provides Christmas gifts to local families needing some assistance during the holiday season, according to FMPD. Santa Cops ensures that more than 300 children in Flower Mound will wake up to presents under the tree from Santa on Christmas morning.
