Sheriff presents $25k donation to Children’s Advocacy Center

Denton County Sheriff Tracy Murphree presents Kristen Howell, CEO Children’s Advocacy Center for Denton County, with a $25,000 check from DCSO’s Department of Justice Judicial Forfeiture Funds.

Denton County Sheriff Tracy Murphree presented a large donation Wednesday to the Children’s Advocacy Center for Denton County.

The Denton County Sheriff’s Office shared a photo on social media Wednesday of Murphree presenting a $25,000 check to Kristen Howell, CEO of the CACDC. The donation comes from the sheriff’s office’s Department of Justice Judicial Forfeiture funds.

“The Children’s Advocacy Center does amazing work in protecting, counseling and rehabilitating child victims,” Murphree wrote in the Facebook post.” They do an amazing job working with law enforcement to bring individuals responsible for hurting our kids to justice. I’ve worked many years with the Center and I’m proud to partner with them.”
