Dianne Edmondson of Robson Ranch on Tuesday defeated Jim Carter of Bartonville for the Republican nomination for Denton County Commissioner, Precinct 4.
Edmondson will face Democrat Bryan Webb, a former Flower Mound Town Council member, in the general election this November.
Harris Hughey took 58 percent of the vote over Don Cartwright in the runoff for the Republican nominee for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 4.
James Kerbow edged out Bill Lawrence for the Republican nominee for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 3.
In the race for district clerk, David Trantham won with 53 percent of the vote over Mark Yarbrough.
