The Flower Mound High School Band is inviting the community to a Texas barbecue Fundraising Dinner on Friday night,
The band is hosting Gerald Freeny, president of the Tournament of Roses, and his wife as they visit Flower Mound in celebration of the FMHS band’s recent selection to participate in the 2019 Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California.
Mr. Freeny will be the featured speaker and will focus on the honor of participating in the the New Year’s Day tradition and the exciting events surrounding the parade. Student ensembles will perform throughout the evening, according to a news release.
The dinner is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Flower Mound 9 Cafeteria, 3411 Peters Colony Road. Click here to buy tickets.
