The Argyle Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of an addition to Argyle High School during its meeting Tuesday night.
Argyle ISD requested a site plan amendment for the 18,000-square-foot, two-story addition of 12 classrooms to the southeast portion of the school. The addition would be constructed with exterior materials to match the rest of the school.
P&Z commissioners voted 6-0 to approve the amendment.
The request will go to Town Council for approval. Argyle ISD hopes to be able to complete construction by December.
