Highland Village honors two longtime employees

Highland Village will dedicate a day to two dedicated employees.

The Highland Village City Council will officially proclaim Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Charles Mitchell Day and Martha Butz Day.

Charles is retiring after 25 years with the City of Highland Village as Street Supervisor and over 40 years working in municipal government.

Martha Butz is retiring after 17 years with the City of Highland Village as Human Resources Director. She was the first person employees met when they began working for the City and put policies in place that led to the development of a professional and committed staff.

Area residents are invited to help celebrate their service to the City on Tuesday, February 14, at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.
