Sandeep Sharma announced his candidacy for Flower Mound Town Council with a pledge to engage and listen to Flower Mound’s residents, businesses, visitors and employees regarding Town Council decisions.
Sharma is challenging Kevin Bryant, who is seeking a second term in Place 3. The filing period for candidates runs through Feb. 17.
Having served on the Town’s Charter Review Commission and Planning & Zoning Commission, Sharma said he understands the value of listening to the stakeholders, rather than relying on personal opinions, when it comes to making the right decisions to benefit the community.
“Most people do not get to the Town Hall or follow the Council meeting agenda until it is too late, and these are the people who make this town a great place to live. Therefore, it is important to engage the community and bring the Town Hall to them,” Sharma stated in a press release.
Sharma has lived in Flower Mound for over 15 and-a-half years and is CEO of The Evolvers Group, a management and technology consulting firm.
