Three attain Eagle Scout rank

Three young men from Troop 192 in Argyle were honored at an Eagle Scout ceremony held at Argyle United Methodist Church on May 17.

Brad Sullivan, 18, made improvements to the Spirit Horse Therapeutic Riding Center in Corinth by installing a flower bed around the maintenance shop, removing a stump along a trail, and installing a gate along one of the fences.

Brad recently graduated from Argyle High School and will be attending UNT in the fall. He is the son of Peter and Tracie Sullivan of Argyle.

Vincent Cunningham, 19, is a volunteer at the Spirit Horse Therapeutic Riding Center and was asked to build a replacement rolling horse saddle storage box for the Center. This was a box that they use to store the saddles for the younger riders.

Also a recent graduate from Argyle High School, Cunningham will be attending Texas A&M in Corpus Christi in the fall. He is the son of Warren and Kathleen Cunningham of Argyle.

Zachary Schermerhorn organized and conducted the installation of new, as well as the reparation of existing, irrigation for the pastures at the Spirit Horse Therapeutic Ranch in Corinth.

A recent graduate with Honors from Argyle High School, he will be attending the University of Texas A&M College of Engineering in the fall.

This summer, he will be marching in the lead trumpet section with the World Champion Blue Devils. He is the son of Rob and Suzanne Schermerhorn of Argyle.
